 Escape to the beauty of Chicago's most historic and colorful under glass: the historic Garfield Park and Lincoln Park conservatory. Garfield Park and its remarkable conservatory date back to the turn of the 19th century. See its flower gardens, water courts, bridges, statues, lagoons, and the golden dome field house. Visit the amazing Conservatory, built in 1906, as the largest publicly owned conservatory in the world. Later we visit the Rainforest Cafe for a great lunch (choice of Paradice Pot Roast or Big Islander Ceasar Salad) surrounded by the unique features of an animated tropical forest. After lunch, it's off to the north side and the fabulous Lincoln Park Conservatory. Built in the 1890's the conservatories and surrounding gardens are Chicago icons. See the conservatories of the Fern Room, Tropical Room and phenomenal Orchid Room Stroll throught the outdoor formal gardens and famous Lincoln Park Zoo! (Good walking shoes are strongly recommended!) $75 tickets available at the Registration/Information Desk.
