Bus Trip: Notre Dame & South Bend Legends

 We'll start the day with a stroll through the picturesque campus of ivy-colored walls and gothic buildings like the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (opened in 1892 and in the shape of the cross),the Main building (which is framed Golden Dome topped by the golden statue of St. Mary), and the Hesburgh Library (with its south wall mural "The World of Life) which if often called Touchdown Jesus.) There will be free time to shop and explore at the Eck Visitor's Center and Bookstore followed by lunch at Tippecanoe Place which was once the palatial mansion of Clement Studebaker. We will tour this legendary automaker's home with 40 rooms and 20 fireplaces! finally, we'll see another of South Bend's treasures, the South Bend Chocolate Factory, makers of gourmet chocolates. As we tour, we can have samples and take pictures at Lucy and Ethel's replica conveyor belt! $75 tickets available at the Registration/Information Desk.
